Here at Fotolilly Photography, we recently had the incredible opportunity to capture the pre-sessions for a Cinderella-themed Quinceañera that promises to be nothing short of enchanting. The main event is set for July 13, 2024, but the magic has already begun with our imaginative and detailed photo sessions. When Gabby's and her family shared her love for the movie Cinderella and that it has always been her dream for her Quince and asked if we would do this we gladly accepted the challenge.
Knowing this would not be an easy event we decided that this would be an amazing opportunity to not only give this Quince her Dream Quince but to also test our abilities and step out of the box from our traditional previous Quince events. This was not an easy task because there had to be multiple photoshoots, different photography locations and she also wanted to use two different Quinceanera dresses so there was much more involved in this journey so far.
Capturing the Journey: From Servant to Princess
For the first session of Gabby’s Cinderella-themed Quinceañera, we wanted to authentically recreate the iconic servant scene from the beloved fairy tale. This idea wasn't just about dressing up; it was about embracing the creativity and effort that goes into making every detail special. The servant costume was meticulously hand-made by Gabby, who poured her heart and soul into crafting this beautiful piece.
Gabby's DIY approach added a personal touch to the session, transforming simple materials into a stunning, rustic ensemble. She used a mix of burlap, lace, and old fabric scraps to create a look that was both authentic and charming. The Grand Transformation: Baby Blue Quince Dress
The highlight of our pre-sessions was undoubtedly Gabby's breathtaking transformation into her baby blue Quinceañera dress. This stunning gown, adorned with intricate lace and shimmering details, truly embodied the essence of a princess. The delicate embroidery and sparkling accents caught the light beautifully, making every twirl and movement a magical moment.
Gabby's radiant joy was palpable, and it was an honor to capture her in such a significant and beautiful dress and OMG the tail was just a superb touch the complete package of this dress. If you look closely there are butterflies embroidered throughout the dress. Just one of the most amazing Quince dresses we have seen.

We began the session at the picturesque Canals in Las Colinas, a favorite and highly renowned location for quinceañera photos also dubbed as “Quincealandia”.
The serene canals and charming walkways always provide the perfect backdrop, enhancing the dress's baby blue hue. Isabella's excitement was contagious, and her genuine happiness shone through in every photo.
Although this location is highly used and may seem like we feel we are always there we take into account the decision of the parents to use this location and treat it with the most respect and give it all we got as if this was the first time there.
The Canals in Las Colinas offered a variety of stunning settings. The historic bridges and lush greenery added a sense of grandeur, making Gabby look like she had stepped straight out of a fairy tale.
Our professional quinceañera photographers captured her gracefully walking along the canals, the dress flowing elegantly behind her. Each shot was carefully framed to emphasize the intricate details of the dress and the joyous expression on Gabby's face. Most of all as in her first session we had fun! That's what it is all about.

Just when we thought the magic of Gabby's session couldn't get any better, Gabby surprised us with an unexpected and delightful twist. After we completed the stunning shoot with the baby blue Quince dress, she reappeared in a second, equally enchanting pink Quinceañera dress for an additional photo session. This surprise not only added a new layer of excitement to the day but also provided us with the opportunity to capture even more beautiful and diverse moments.
