Offer free sessions.
Build your packages however you want.
But tell people the truth about what they're buying.
Because when photographers start playing games with wording, pricing or who's actually doing the work, it doesn't just affect that photographer.
It makes our entire industry look bad.
And personally, I think these tactics are tasteless. They hurt more than they help, and they pull the wool over the eyes of the exact people we're supposed to be taking care of.
So yeah...

If another company does your retouching or post-production, cool.
Just be honest about it.
Because if somebody else edited 3,000 photographs and sent them back to you...
Bro.
That's not your editing speed. That's your upload speed. 😂
